COHO Small Market is a free store located in the Oakwood Community. Small Market provides food, supplies, hygiene products, and other items to low-income and mid-income individuals and families. Residents are able to sign up and receive 500 complimentary Market Bucks, which can only be spent at the CoHO Small Market. Residents can earn more Market Bucks by volunteering in the community -- 1 hour = 10 Market Bucks.
COHO Small Market relies on individual and institutional donors to provide easy-access support to local families. To contribute fresh/frozen/nonperishable food, hygiene products, large or travel-sized toiletries, or other items, contact us at (501) 205-1614 between 9 am - 12 pm or 1 pm - 3 pm (Mon - Thur) to set up a drop-off time. You can also reach our Small Market Director at CoHONutritionDirector@gmail.com |
Originally envisioned by Brian King, the CoHO Community Gardens offer an opportunity for individuals of all walks of life to come together and harvest Hope. The City of Hope Outreach has expanded the community garden at our location in Oakwood and continues to be cared for by the community members. The garden is an integral part of our Nutrition and Small Market program and provides nutritious fruits and vegetables free to the community. We are always looking for individuals and groups with a willingness to join the CoHO Garden team! |
